Back from traveling!

Hi all!
Me and, thus, Earthia is back!
I have spent six most amazing weeks on the West coast, in Nevada, and then California for a month!
It went by so quickly and colorfully, in every sense of this word!
Really magical times in a magical place - so inspiring to visit this land ;)
I didn't have a camera, so these are just a few pictures ;)
I hope you are having an amazing summer!
Turquoise mirror aviators - color for you to see ;P
California, at the Red Marines!
The Turtle van - the most beautiful and cozy home on wheels!
love
At the Goa Gil party in Northern CA
Symbiosis festival during Solar Eclipse weekend
Looking at the sun overshadowed by the moon through the special viewing glasses ;)
Always wearing something that I made myself ;)) It was Dusty! Like at BM ;)))
Crocheting hats of un-dyed eco wool - gorgeous color!
These are to appear in the shop next week, as soon as the parcel with the rest of my stuff arrives.
Stay tuned for new posts, now that "the crew" is back to work ;)
I'm re-opening my Earthia shop on Etsy during this week - expect new sweaters with detailed measurements!

Water Bottle Sack, Personalized

As promised, I'm posting pictures of my bastardized sack for my water bottle.
Hydrate and you'll levitate ;)))
It's important to drink plenty, true!
I'm listing these sacks on Etsy as I write this!
Check Earthia shop to see what's new!
Large metal bead - it has been laying around for years, I finally found a place for it!

Australia Total Solar Eclipse Festival 2012 - are you going?! ;)
Large square opalite bead - it used to be a centerpiece of a necklace my manager from my last job brought to me from Mexico, I love this artificial stone - blue is my favorite!
The orange guy is the Reality Engine sticker ;)

Drink, Nomad, drink!

Made by Earthia
Water Bottle Sack "Nomad"

Sizes:
:::1L(32oz):::(pictured)
:::0.6-0.75L(25oz):::this is the most common size, to my notice
:::0.3L(8-10oz) <---*Kid's size*

The sack will fit most of the reusable bottles produced, as the nature of this case is crochet, so the mesh is expandable in both directions - height and width. Tall Thermos will fit, and various other containers for liquids, glass, plastic, aluminum - check sizing.
The bottom is well defined and has a woven in hole on the bottom - to make the bottle stand firmly on all surfaces. The bottle has to be pushed through upon first use, as the sack is made tight on purpose - snag fitting case for your favorite water bottle!
I mostly use Wool/Acrylic blend for crocheting, so the sack will last years. I make the yarn thick and chunky, two and more plies, so the stitches are beautifully defined - eye candy!
I love color blocking, it makes me feel good to play here ;)))
Earthy colors, bright colors - they're all asking to be here!!
Colors vary individually:::hope you find the perfect match for you!:::
HYDRATE ♥
More pictures will be posted tomorrow, with pricing and purchasing details.

EARTHIA: Dusty Nation

Mine are still dusty, are yours?! ;) These are the various parts of outfits for my Burning Man escapade last year, short enough to move around fast, if desired, ragged and weathered enough to roll on the playa, and they're all pretty damn gorgeous! ;) I loved dusty blues, cream and white, black... gray.. beige ;) and some sparkle!

this is my own bustle skirt, yes it still got playa dust all over hahaha ;)
this piece i wore ALL the time! beautiful + comfortable; can be worn on top of bare skin, or any bottom of your choice, even at night when it's cold. makes your bosom look more plump, and totally draws attention to the whole back.. ;)
Layared silks, lace and gorgeous blue velvet...
lucky me, the polka-dots on the cream silk layer glow in the blacklight!!!!! score!!! ;)
.. all attached to a belt, all made by hands, no sewing machine...
dusty rose ;) hand made of satin ribbon.. took me an hour or so just to make the rose.. ;)

to be continued tomorrow...

Hello, The Flip Side of the Universe!!! ;)))

I am back from traveling across America and few months on the West Coast, in California!!! New York feels the same, and it feels different... it doesn't feel like home anymore, and i know why ;) because it never truly was a home... but a place!!!! haha ;) home is inside, always, i feel it strongly now, wherever i go or want to go, i already feel at home! What a wonderful, one of many, discoveries! hehe ;)

I missed blogging, but because i was living very simple, staying away from electronic devices as much as i could, I had amazing opportunities to see myself better, reflecting from marvelous creatures that I had met over these many months on the road! Blessed to have had encountered every manifestation of freedom, so inspiring! Humans are absolutely funniest, beautifulest, craziest species yet! haha.... fascination with California is really life-changing... ;P ;)

I can jump on the posting train right away, actually. I will share anything and everything i enjoy doing, making, thinking, living.

Thank you for liking my blog and what i do ;)

I'm back! ;)

I've spent some time away from the city, in CT... in the town named Mystic! how wonderful, right? ;)
We visited Dan's first yoga teacher - Marya at the space called Dragon's Egg! Here're few pictures in front of the Egg, near the Turtle van that we ride around... Lovely forest, chirping birds, a little rain, which couldn't ruin our stay at the magical place... ;)

wearing some random coat found in the place... kissing the Turtle on the lips ;))))

Yes, swings!!! off the swings onto sketching new designs, talk about inspiration by adrenaline! hehehe

Up on the second floor, where we slept. I had my serger with me, stocked up on great softest sweaters at local salvation army - how awesomely full of great stuff those stores are! I wish we had more of such upcycler's mecca in NY ;)

Southernmost living II, because the first post got screwed! ;)

Down in Key West everything is "southernmost"! It is, of course, the most southern point of the United States - if anyone has been there, they have, most likely, stood in line to have their picture taken at the veeeerrrry southern point of the dry land.. ;)
The town is fun - taxis are pink, butterflies are yellow, hummer limos are painted like zebras, pelicans are fearless, roosters are running unattended, bikers ride cruisers, wearing a swimsuit at a supermarket or an airport, to which is a walking distance along the beach, is normal, rushing is unusual, magnolias are bright red, tiny lizards are acknowledged citizens of the town of Key West, and little baby chickens (and their mothers) regulate the traffic on the roads ;)
Spring break is at its peak... with young bodies being happily intoxicated and testosteroned ;P The beach is like a human party zoo hehe - fun! No pictures of that though... let it remain undocumented, spring time fantasy for the kids, a fun memory for me ;)))
Lots of sunshine and very relaxed people!
oh, and the sunrises and sunsets are out of this world!
What a change it is, now back in NY! ;)))
hi!

there was a huge tree with this flowers, which look like magnolias, but we were told, that this was called a "tulip tree" .... a whole area under the tree was covered in these flowers... this was the first morning we got to Key West, the first thing I saw - beautiful welcome, thank you, Florida! ;)

someone's parked fairy van... biked by it every day, never seen the owner.. she, i think it's a she, must be  a curious being!

on the day of the hurricane, later in the evening I found this nature's present on the ground - must had have fallen from one of the palm trees... incredible!

Danya enjoys the sun so! Smile for the clouds hehe ;)))
