Why Pirate

Tara Lotus has inspired me to piratize my jacket.

Here's how I did it, it's very easy:

take a pair of scissors and cut thin stripes off along the edges - wherever you wish. I did it along most of the jacket's edges haha ;) 

I made little cuts at the elbow level, then tore apart more with my hands to make bigger holes - don't go too hard here, or you'll have to sew it back together!

I did the same thing along the shoulders, towards the back.. you can do it in any part of your denim project ;) 

Now you can wash it in the washer to fray the edges. 

Add patches, beads, lace - anything you have handy and love. 

Love worn tattered look!

Rip here, rip there - no end to perfect tear and tatter!

My friend Levka gave me a pair of jeans he had worn to, according to him "shreds", I used the good parts of this quality pile of denim, perfectly worn. The heart-shaped pocket has been added by me to the right side  - very handy! It fits tiny things like coins - love that ;)

There are lots of various colors, and this is a new pattern that I'm perfecting.

New Clothing for Sale!

I'm posting some of the reference pictures now of new items I've made.

Some of the tunics, duster tunics and sweater coats are not my size, but I wore them for the pictures anyway. I'll post more photos on Etsy, as the mannequin is showing the item even better, and I'm able to take more detailed shots ;)

Upcycled Tribal

Tribal jewelry and accessories will always have a special place in my heart, like no other - what other? rings and bracelets from the brands alike to the one that packs their merchandise in turquoise boxes? Predictable, although, they call things like that a classic, so we keep buying that uninteresting and recognizable thing without a character made of silver.

I find so much detail and story in tribal and neo-tribal jewelry, there's warmth from realising that, that's why I am especially curious in any ethnic adornments and accessories.

EARTHIA: Dusty Nation

Mine are still dusty, are yours?! ;) These are the various parts of outfits for my Burning Man escapade last year, short enough to move around fast, if desired, ragged and weathered enough to roll on the playa, and they're all pretty damn gorgeous! ;) I loved dusty blues, cream and white, black... gray.. beige ;) and some sparkle! 

this is my own bustle skirt, yes it still got playa dust all over hahaha ;)
this piece i wore ALL the time! beautiful + comfortable; can be worn on top of bare skin, or any bottom of your choice, even at night when it's cold. makes your bosom look more plump, and totally draws attention to the whole back.. ;)

lucky me, the polka-dots on the cream silk layer glow in the blacklight!!!!! score!!! ;)

 .. all attached to a belt, all made by hands, no sewing machine...

Girls In Earthia Hoodies!

 It's so nice to see people enjoying your creations...;)

Here're a couple pictures from the party (which was on the roof for the most part, and was a blast, i must tell you!) I was selling Earthia wear. I am also happy to mention, that there probably is a collaboration, which is currently in the works, with ENKI store, that is located in Philadelphia. This is in the works with the lovely owners of this wonderful store, full of artful clothing, accessories, jewelry and art, Chai and Allysa. This sweater is different - it is an experiment, - something new i'm designing.. ;) Very short and wrap-around, with kimono cut sort sleeves....wide long ties, pixie hood, stripes... gorgeous soft wool... for a goddess well endowed in the bust area! ;) will give a beautifully defined cleavage..

This is size Large, but i think, due to the ragged style of this piece it can be worn by a someone size Medium as well ;)
