Upcycled Tribal

Tribal jewelry and accessories will always have a special place in my heart, like no other - what other? rings and bracelets from the brands alike to the one that packs their merchandise in turquoise boxes? Predictable, although, they call things like that a classic, so we keep buying that uninteresting and recognizable thing without a character made of silver.
Booooring!
I find so much detail and story in tribal and neo-tribal jewelry, there's warmth from realising that, that's why I am especially curious in any ethnic adornments and accessories.
A whole fairytale right there! ;)

Gray For A Play
Voluptuous goddess, this one is for you! Softest wools in all sorts and shades of gray, long sleeves, looooong pixie hood, this is something really special. Warm and cozy - it was created at a very special place, actually, called Dragon's Egg - i believe it has a particularly magical energy woven in... ;)
L-XL, perhaps busty tall M

Meet Me In The Forest

XS-S

Psy Butterfly
This sweater is different - it is an experiment, - something new i'm designing.. ;) Very short and wrap-around, with kimono cut sort sleeves....wide long ties, pixie hood, stripes... gorgeous soft wool... for a goddess well endowed in the bust area! ;) will give a beautifully defined cleavage..

Be My Robin, I Will Be Your Hood
Subtle foresty colors, i love how green, brown, taupe blend together. My favorite here is the neck opening, and small side slits! Experiment, - first men's sweater... lambs wool, merino wool.. pixie hood! ;)
Colors are more bright in person.. ;)))
This is size Large, but i think, due to the ragged style of this piece it can be worn by a someone size Medium as well ;)

Global Village deco

PULP event was generously spiced by the Global Village Production deco.. this was my third time seeing their art in action, and I think that deserves a stand alone post! What a great group of artists from UK they are! Magicians, every one of them, to be able to create an absolutely beautifully surreal environment...
Here are some pictures of their creations, taken from the Global Village home page:

Tribal Market (continued)

More yumminess from last weekend's Tribal Market event.
 many more after the jump!

Tribal Market

Now I think the time to post pictures form the Market! Now is the time for the loooongest post yet! ;)
Many friends came, many friends were made, connections in spirit and art, in creation and revelation...
Photos speak for themselves, as the saying goes, but I want to mention, that the beautiful event went beyond my expectation in terms of enthusiasm and abundance of great vibe!
So, I want to congratulate Masha LunaRa, the organizer of Tribal Market, and, of course, anyone who followed their interest in the event.. Yay! I'm ready for another one, for sure.. not so long to wait, by the way ;)

Lots and lots of pictures below by Max and Alena, thank you guys! It was lovely to have you and your talent!

Tribal Market on the Ninth of October

I'm very much anticipating taking part in Tribal Market event on October 9 in Long Island city. Organized and created by my friend Masha LunaRa, an artist and jewelry designer. Cannot wait! We are talking beautiful creations of tribal wear, vegan food, sweet base sounds of dubstep, with live vj Nasha Masha, showing visuals made just for the event, belly dancer, tea ceremony and so on..! How cool is that? The first market ever will be open in two weeks, and I already am planning for the next one ;) I'm going to be setting up Earthia display with items for sale as well - knit waist bags, fingerless mitts, cat-hats, furry-loopy vests and hair accessories! It's a gathering, a trunk show, a get-together of creativity and good spirit, and love, and great intentions.
You are welcome to join the Facebook group  Tribal Market to stay tuned for upcoming events, markets, and good-vibe gatherings of creative self-expressing artists from all over the country.

West coast yumminess!

Masha LunaRa herself, hanging out at our camp last Burning Man... I'm happy she is following her dream, pursuing what she loves to do, - this idea of hers with the market has been in the works for a while, it is about time the "child" sees the light ;)

Masha's black and white painting... one of my favorites.. it's called "LUNARA". I admire Masha for her talent :)

And how about feathered hair extensions? They stay in the hair for months! You can wash and style your hair as usual. This is quite an idea of Masha's, she literally can't add those fast enough to the beautiful heads of devotees of her creations! I, myself, have been trying to bump into her to have some done on my hair.. I guess, I will have to wait ha-ha ;) Btw, Masha will be doing this at Tribal Market, yay for those lucky ones, who will sport beautiful feathers in their free-spirited heads!!!

Oh so vivid designs from Xango Shola
Shola has amazing talent as well, combined with her beautiful personality, she puts together traditional ethnic wear and details together with modern silhouettes... and presentation is usually spectacular and not like anything else! Check out the website to see previous shows.

...and more...
Ah, life! ;)
