Perhaps, some have traveling plans for the upcoming cold season, or moving plans, or creativity, entertainment or other plans.. 

And I have been thinking of fall and winter accessories, among others ;))

Rainy Saturday Comeback

Hello, loves!
It has been so many days since I posted anything here.. A year or more!
Good thing, that blogger allows to take time off ;) I have been tempted to write here a few times over the past year, but something kept me off. Partially, I wasn't sure what kind of content to share ;)

I will just write this as a diary, as it never has been really a fashion blog, or style blog..

Fun in the studio!

If you start doing what you love to do the most, you find yourself in another dimension. Living the dream, that is how it feels like ;) 

I thought a new sign for my shop, when vending would be nice. 

Upcycling.... the long side of a cupboard drawer!
I think I found it in the basement...

Like the sky, of course... most beautiful!

Then I used random small pieces of leather to make the knotty rope for the sign, I like the colors together - blue, black on wood. 

Closet Case

Buying (Fashion Merchandising) was my major at FIT, the school I graduated from with bachelor degree, not Fashion Design. So, naturally, I liked the subject, - it was about fashion, after all. I studied a lot of math, but alongside I got to learn even more of fabric science, color, trends, history of costume, pattern making, display installation, and, sure, all the business aspects of fashion world - statistics,  marketing, advertising, and so on. Generally, this is a great subject to know, as you have quite a knowledge of both sides of the industry - the artistic and the business one. And I took ballet and yoga as my physical education requirement classes! ;)))

Professional buyer is something that is in me and is here to stay, and every once in a while I catch myself thinking "this vintage skirt would be awesome on someone, too bad I don't need it"... and then I buy it for the beautiful fabric, or a cut, or uniqueness of it. So, over the years, admittedly, there is quite a collection of really nice clothes - thrift finds, vintage finds, or even unworn, or like-new current pieces hanging in a separate closet. The closet has been opened ;)

Half a day today I spent working out a place in the room to get nice pictures of yours truly wearing the goods. So far so fun! ;)))) The two skirts are the objects of desire, that some one may want to acquire ;) 

    

Peek-a-boo! 

One of mannequin's boobies is squished, she fell on her face... ;( 

It's a little gray outside today, but I'm loving it ;) 

The box covered with most amazing psychedelic velvet fabric! It used to be a maxi-skirt I found in a San Francisco Salvation Army store. Stack of pillows - upcycled curtains as pillowcases, filler - small cut offs and and leftover bits of sweaters I use in making new designs. Socks.

Brown cotton velvet bell shaped skirt - hot! Very Steampunk, color is like chocolate. Current, evening wear.

Valentino skirt. Wool. Mmmm... nude pink spectator booties with brown satin ribbons, ;) Seychelles.

 

Ah! the rag got in the picture again ;) It is made out of the t-shirt yarn that I made a couple of years ago, using my own unused t-shirts (duh!) and some friend's as well - thank you, guys!

I will be taking more pictures, when time permits, as this project is only the beginning and I will see how it takes off. 

But these wool socks were rocking my world this whole Fall and Winter! I'm not taking them off just yet ;)

Leaping into the Spring!

Crocheting to "Jeeves and Wooster" British comedy series, I love the books as well. 

I am wishing everyone amazing awaking Spring season. 

Something beautiful will unavoidably grow and flourish... 

inside and outside of us, this coming season, ever evolving - us... 

If we want so ;)

Summer moved on...

Over months of going around places, Earthia has, certainly, evolved. 

I've been to BM twice over the past 3 years, and each time i made my own outfits, which i happily wear sometimes during the year as well - parties, gatherings and what not. 

Expect to see the BM appropriate garb made by Earthia soon ;)

this hoodie is made of soft wool, as always, carefully handpicked and upcycled... For someone with a gorgeous shapely body - size ML, it curves the figure beautifully, long pixie hood, sleeveless to wear all year round over any outfit.. ;)

Soft thicker wool to cozy up, 3/4 length sleeves, cashmere, merino wool blend.. Blues, beiges and cream, i think it sounds like a dream! ;) Long Cozy pixie hood is included ;P

Moss green, beige/gray flecks/ gold flecks, blue wool, stripy softest cashmere.. For a tiny fairy, it is snug and accentuates a body beautifully, double ruffle on the armholes - little wings! Gorgeous pixie hood, but of course ;)

Voluptuous goddess, this one is for you! Softest wools in all sorts and shades of gray, long sleeves, looooong pixie hood, this is something really special. Warm and cozy - it was created at a very special place, actually, called Dragon's Egg - i believe it has a particularly magical energy woven in... ;)

Softest white wool blend, beige and heather beige wool, raffled armholes... long pixie hood - a staple for an Elf, if you ask me ;)

Thicker soft red wool adorned with stripes of wools and wool blends for an omph factor! Art-deco-ish sleeves, like butterfly... almost kimono-like... Longest pixie hood! ;)

My Heart Is Red
Gorgeous shades of red with just enough of metallic sparkle here and there, in various knits - buttery cashmere, wool blend, cotton blend..
Very snug and tight, creates a beautiful aura around as soon as you put it on.. THEN you put the hood on and.... the whole world looks different ;)))

Psy Butterfly
This sweater is different - it is an experiment, - something new i'm designing.. ;) Very short and wrap-around, with kimono cut sort sleeves....wide long ties, pixie hood, stripes... gorgeous soft wool... for a goddess well endowed in the bust area! ;) will give a beautifully defined cleavage..
moss yellowish green (one of my favorite colors) and black - perfect combo, always...

Be My Robin, I Will Be Your Hood
Subtle foresty colors, i love how green, brown, taupe blend together. My favorite here is the neck opening, and small side slits! Experiment, - first men's sweater... lambs wool, merino wool.. pixie hood! ;)
Colors are more bright in person.. ;)))
This is size Large, but i think, due to the ragged style of this piece it can be worn by a someone size Medium as well ;)

Tribal Market III - Pictures

Here are few pictures from the Pulp event, where we held the Tribal Market III - a sagnificent event for me in all the ways, considering that all of the elvish sweater hoodies were sold out AND were worn immediately by beautiful fairies dancing their way through the night... soooo lovely! ;) Thank you! And if anyone of you, dear buyers of my sweaters, have pictures of beautiful you in my creations, please, do send them to me, I'll be happy to post them here, on Eathia blog to everyone's enjoyment! ;)

Tribal Market

Now I think the time to post pictures form the Market! Now is the time for the loooongest post yet! ;)

Many friends came, many friends were made, connections in spirit and art, in creation and revelation...

Photos speak for themselves, as the saying goes, but I want to mention, that the beautiful event went beyond my expectation in terms of enthusiasm and abundance of great vibe! 

So, I want to congratulate Masha LunaRa, the organizer of Tribal Market, and, of course, anyone who followed their interest in the event.. Yay! I'm ready for another one, for sure.. not so long to wait, by the way ;)
