Dreadlocks!!!

Found some great tips on how to maintain your dreadlocks, if you got'em! ;) The essential oils are good for anyone, added in proper amounts (research is your friend), but with dreads, it's important to be very gentle and loving, they're alive, you know! ;)

Hello, The Flip Side of the Universe!!! ;)))

I am back from traveling across America and few months on the West Coast, in California!!! New York feels the same, and it feels different... it doesn't feel like home anymore, and i know why ;) because it never truly was a home... but a place!!!! haha ;) home is inside, always, i feel it strongly now, wherever i go or want to go, i already feel at home! What a wonderful, one of many, discoveries! hehe ;)

I missed blogging, but because i was living very simple, staying away from electronic devices as much as i could, I had amazing opportunities to see myself better, reflecting from marvelous creatures that I had met over these many months on the road! Blessed to have had encountered every manifestation of freedom, so inspiring! Humans are absolutely funniest, beautifulest, craziest species yet! haha.... fascination with California is really life-changing... ;P ;)

I can jump on the posting train right away, actually. I will share anything and everything i enjoy doing, making, thinking, living.

Why?

The reason, why UPCYCLING is the optimal solution for making a change in our consumer habits, that can and will change the world for the better!

(one of the key words for me - anti-corporation. Supporting small businesses, arts and crafts, hand-made; not buying from corporations, refusing to consume mass-produced goods, supporting local farmers, producers and artists, etc.)

Etsy shop header, new!

While updating my shop at earthia on etsy I decided to make some changes to the header on the main page as well... some photoshop skills are useful, i thought to myself, picking the right font.. I love the one I have chosen - it is a medieval slavic font, i felt like i have to somehow represent my Russian roots ;) Overall I'm more than pleased with the result, using the pictures taken during Earthia Photoshoot.

NYC Dance Parade 2011!!!

Last weekend New York has seen an amazing event, - beautiful, colorful, laughable, danceable! 

We were and are the Trance Family, yes, the lovers of life and Psytrance music ;)))

Sooo many people, so many smiles and laughter and sun and kids and soap bubbles and hula-hoops and miniskirts and eyelashes!!!!! 

Happy-happy times, incredible energy of dancing in sync in trance we dance... 

I think New York enjoyed it greatly! 

Down the streets of Broadway and then to Tompkins Square Park we danced out way..

Wearing Earthia

Here are some new pictures of girls in Earthia hoodies! Beautiful team of pirates - Grace & Renee! Photos are by Rob Hazel. They were all taken at sunrise... the light is beautiful and compliments life, doesn't it? in all senses of that word haha ;)

Shine on, you crazy crystal! ;

I absolutely love Aurora Borealis shiny sparkly beads, crystals, anything! The rainbow glow is so pretty and fun, they reflect sun in the most beautiful way all over! 

Made an exaggerated crystal pendant necklace to give people puzzles and laughs and sun bunnies (a patch of sun spot is called "sun bunny" in Russian ..) on their faces ;)  Used a simple un-dyed natural yarn braided into a thin cord... for contrast ;) Lights, Sun, here  I come hahaha! ;)
